Bedesten means fabric bazaar where jewelery and other valuable items are sold. This bazaar culture has come from the Ottoman to the present day. It still continues its main function today. The bazaar was rebuilt in 1914 and consists of seventy one shops lined up side by side. Generally these shops are working on haberdashery wool rope, lace rope, writing, cheesecloth, fabric and all kinds of sewing-embroidery materials. In addition, local dresses, henna bags and covers used for weddings can be seen.
